Hi folks,
Hope all is well. Beyond wishful thinking, that is. Well.. anyhow.

There's two chicken upper legs, cooked in the fridge. Didn't get to eat them in time. They are past due date.
I was wondering if they could just be put in the blender and with a little molasse and lacto bac culture... turned into a chicken emulsion fertilizer?

Any thoughts?

I wonder if that would serve a double duty as also being a herbivore deterrent. With a top covering of a carbon rich mulch (yes, wood chips again) I wouldn't even worry about any odor that we'd notice.

Probably give this the same safety guidelines you'd give fresh manures. Other than that, sounds like a good use of resources to me. Many people here routinely incorporate meat and bone into their compost piles with no bad effects.
