Hi there,

First off, thank you for your interest.

I'm just a guy trying to change his stars.

WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR:
I am currently looking for a permaculture farm who would be willing to house and pay me in exchange for back breaking labor on their farm. I'm not asking for much but just enough to save up a little money to fuel some adventures. If you can't pay me but know of a local job opportunity that I could take while living on your farm I would do that as well.

ABOUT ME:
I studied Civil and Architectural Engineering at the Missouri Univ. of Science and Technology. Mouth Full I know. I was on my way to becoming a Project Manager at a construction company and after some first hand experience I decided that life was no longer for me -- building crappy buildings for the sake of making money does not appeal to me. I have a dream of owning my own permaculture farm while living in an Earthship home. 100% self sustaining, self sufficient and capable of feeding my community. Perhaps I can gather years of experience to play a consulting role someday, enlightening others to this way of life. But here's the kicker, I have no experience on a permaculture farm. I am studying up on permaculture as much as I can though! I am looking for someone brave enough to offer me that first opportunity and I promise you, I will not disappoint you. I can't think of any better way to learn than dive head first into permaculture farming. I'm a self-motivated, hard working individual willing to put in the hard work to gain your respect and trust. I absolutely love animals and am very good with them. I do eat meat, but I'm an advocate for humanely killing my food and using as much as the animal as possible. I don't drink, I don't do drugs besides the occasional 420. Occasional means I'm no addict I just enjoy natures best flower from time to time.
I am determined to see this dream become a reality. I want to create a better life for my myself and my future family.
I would be willing to go anywhere in the world as long as the opportunity presents itself.

If you are interested please message me. I would be willing to answer any of your questions or concerns.

Hello Bobby,

We have a large project underway in the Grand Traverse area of northern Lower Michigan.  Big fruit country ... all temperate fruits.  Land of forested hills and many lakes.

Have an 80 acre parcel with lots of valuable timber on board.  Have free camp space available for people who may want to establish a base camp in this premium strategic area (lots of water, abundant natural resources, low population and out-of-the-way.  Private ground with exceptional access.  Good soils.

Lots of free building materials.  Camp/homestead ground is available for very low cost lease.  Includes all the building materials (stone, sand, timber).  Building large greenhouse currently.  Many jobs in the area if outside work is desired.  Good, honest hands on board.

Come and visit, look all around, camp for free for the rest of the season and see if it fits.

Questions are welcomed.

Jay,

My apologies for the late response. A lot has been going on in my world lately, I did not mean to neglect the forum and ignore your post. I grew up in Michigan until I was 12, no offense to you I just want to experience a different location. I hope you find what you are looking for sir!

I am still looking for the right opportunity, if anyone has an opportunity please reach out to me via email for a quicker response.

-Bobby
