Does anyone here have a big tooth maple dropping seeds that I can arrange to get some from?  NOT big leaf maple which is zone 5 but big tooth maple.  I was reading a maple syrup guide and seeing that it is on the list of being okay sugar and tolerant of clay soils and high pH and high salt soils while still being zone 3 to 4 hardy(last varies depending on listing)  If your tree is already in clay or high pH soils while being zone 3 or zone 4 better still.  Looked on the internet and the people who sell seeds for this are not listing them this year mostly so apparently seeds are not readily available for them this year.

Borrowed from wiki "Other vernacular names occasionally used include lost maple, Sabinal maple, western sugar maple, Uvalde big tooth maple, canyon maple, southwestern big tooth maple, plateau big tooth maple, limerock maple, Wasatch maple and Rocky Mountain sugar maple."

I realize I am probably a bit late asking.  Just tripped over the information.
