Anyone on this forum from Long Island? I know it's not a hotbed of Permaculture, but was hoping to connect with some local people maybe discuss some suburban homesteading techniques and projects that work in our neck of the woods.

Check the North Fork of Long Island. Several potatoe farms and vineyards there.
