New homestead eco village in tennessee wanting some cob

Planning to go cob diy and have no funds for classes will be doing it all online with advice and videos and books. (Unfortunately, I wish I had some teaching hands on!) In central south tn. Looking to network here and meet mentor ship or advice maybe meet locals who used cob. No building code!

My soil seems to be (at first test in a jar) a bout 40% sand and 60% clay (hard to tell with all the tiny rocks) but then it is FILLED with rocks of all sizes, everywhere. SO MANY ROCKS!

Does this ruin my soil for cob? I don't currently have access to heavy machinery and will have to dig by hand. If i can use rocks in Cob, I think I can stomp it with my boots on. But what are your experiences?
