A friend of mine sent me a link for this 28-minute video of an archival “classic” about experimental systematic organic farming.  The video is a reformatted film distributed by the National Film Board of Canada, and it’s about a group called the New Alchemists.  If their name has a ring to it, it’s because (from what I understand) they were sort of famous in alternative circles back in the 1970s…  and people never completely forgot them.

The farm featured and explained was in Massachusetts, and this group lived and worked there.  But the group had another one later on Prince Edward Island, Canada.

I thought a lot of people here at Permies might enjoy their time spent watching, so I’m posting.

Drove my Chevy to the levee but the levee was dry. I wrung this tiny ad and it was still dry.
