I thought this was an excellent lighting solution for dark buildings with corrogated tin roofs, such as sheds or perhaps chicken coops. A 2-litre bottle is filled with water and bleach and attached through the roof, dispersing as much natural light as a 50-watt bulb.
Excellent for off-the-grid! A cheap solution that keeps a little more plastic out of our landfills.
I got really excited about that when I learned about it. Really good idea. I'm thinking of trying it farther North by adding reflectors around the neck of the bottle sticking out the roof.
