Good morning,
Thanks for your articles.  Good info.
I'm looking for a way to use white clover in a lawn, but in a controlled manner.  Right now I have several patches that are rather thick, but would like a thinner more uniform distribution.  Any tips on how to achieve.  (mostly tips on how to thin dense patches of clover).  No Chemicals.
thanks,

Fertilizer!

Just put some organic lawn fertilizer on the clover patches.  The grass will then outcompete the clover.

Clover is a legume.  Legumes are able to get fertilizer (in this case, nitrogen) from the air (thanks to some special microbes).  Grass does not have that advantage and grass is a nitrogen PIG!

So wherever you have lots of clover, that's a sign that that spot of your lawn is very low in nitrogen.

Blood pressure normal? What do I change to get "magnificent"? Maybe this tiny ad?
