Is this good advice?  I found a site that recommended softwood cuttings be at least thick enough to stand upright with out bending over to touch the ground.  
I would like to propagate some of my Kiwi so I can expand my kiwi next spring.

Other people may reject you but if you lie in the forest floor for long enough the moss and fungi will accept you as one of their own!
