Getting ready to publish my book, I've spent a lot of time at my
local library seek out resources that can guide me through this path. Here are my favourite resources so far:
Self-publishing in Canada: a complete guide to designing, printing and selling your book / Suzanne Anderson.
My favourite resource so far. This book is amazing. It shows you how to make a self-published book that doesn't look self-published.
The business of being a writer / Jane Friedman.
Not about self-publishing, but an excellent book about the business aspect of writing. If you want to be a published writer (self or traditional publishing), then this is an excellent grounding in the business (and it is a business) aspects of writing.
The Global Indie Author 3rd edition by M. A. Demers
A great resource with how to do every little thing. I haven't read it cover to cover, but every time I'm stuck on an aspect, I flip through to the table of content and there's always an
answer there.

Great website. Probably the only website about self-publishing that I've found useful and not trying to scam me.
