Was standing in my driveway this morning and what did I see ? A juvenile saw whet owl sitting 6 ' away in the branch of a lodge pole pine tree. WOW this is cool! Ran in and got Liz and a camera... came back and he appeared to be gone ! Oh No... but really he had not moved at all ! His camouflage is so good he is nearly invisible ! We both tried to photograph him but you could not find him in the view finder !
Picture #1 is blurry but you can see him #2 he is up in the right hand corner.

That's fantastic! Owls (any kind) are still one of those birds I never get tired of spotting or looking for. We have a few spots near us we go to looking for them at different points of the year. Spotting them just chilling in trees has to be the hardest; we have much better luck finding the mama's when they are nesting, and therefore, stuck in one spot. Great find!
