dairy goat care in Northeast Georgia.
Also in the New Year milking,
milk handling,
simple primitive cheese making, heirloom yogurts, kefir etc. etc.
I have kept goats for many many years.
They are my passion. I have years of knowlege that i would be willing to share with the Right person or persons. Addiction, violence and crime free please! Also i choose not to be around people with really foul mouths. So be prepared to keep any F etc words under your breath.
Kidding season here starts towards the end of December, early January.
The only cost would be an extremely reasonable room and board fee for anyone staying and eating meals at the house. If you live close
enough this learning opportunity could be done on a daytime or evening basis, for a small fee or barter, with no stay overs or room and board. Camping for the cold hardy could also be and option.
I have homesteaded much of my life, including living off grid in the 80s. So i may poss be able to share knowlege of other homestead topics. Or hopefuly learn a lot from you also.
I have also studied herbal medicine since i was a young adult.
I am not expecting long hours of work or hard labor from anyone, but this will be a hands on learning situation. The more you wish to be involved the more you will learn.
