I currently have a bilevel garden in an urna area in Milwaukee, WI. the top level is at the fence/ground level of my neighbor. I would love to do a stacked raised bed for each layer but I am concerned about ruining the wooden fence that is there as a part of a very respectful and elderly neighbor. My plan is to elevate the ground level for next season and thusly raising a couple feet over neighborly ground level the upper garden. I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT WANT TO HARM her fencing.
Is it possible to apply something to her fencing or alternatively would it be sufficient to simply raise the first floor of the garden while using the current rock barrier holding the second platform in place.
This is my first post and after spending hours looking around this sight, I am certainly a newcomer to this subject. despite a few years of self practice.
P.S. I can't fnd anywhere for newcomers to hang out on this site. Am I missing something or is the site missing a place for sincerely interested but overwhelmed participants?
