This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEM curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the straw badge in Tool care.

Most kitchen knives aren't too hard to sharpen but that bread knife might have you stymied...  Let's figure out how to sharpen a serrated knife!

Here are some approaches:

Minimum requirements:
 - Sharpen a serrated knife
     - At least 6" of serrated knife edge
- Must be sharpened by hand with hand tools

Provide proof of the following as pictures or video (<2 min):
 - Closeup of the dull edge OR of the dull knife trying to cut a slice of ripe full-sized tomato the thickness of a dime
 - Action shot of sharpening
 - Sharp knife having cut a slice of ripe full-sized tomato the thickness of a dime

The absolute hardest part of this BB was not the sharpening. It was trying to cut in a straight line with a serrated knife. I hope that I did a sufficient job!
