One may post in the cider press if one has enough apples and pie to post in that particular forum.

The Cider Press is a section of the site we reserve for controversial topics which could otherwise derail a discussion. These topics include, but aren’t limited to, religion and spirituality, cannabis, politics, social justice, ethics, toxic gick, parenting, and climate change.

If you have enough apples, then staff & pollinators have decided your posts are of a good quality and are nice and respectful. Pie can be bought, or given for excellent posts, or it can be earned through getting your 20th apple, completing a scavenger hunt, and by other means.

Even in the Cider Press, you need to be nice and follow Permies publishing standards. Otherwise, posts may be deleted, pelted with apple cores, or both.

Additionally, if you post about these things outside of the cider press, your posts may be deleted, or you will be asked to edit them.
