I am currently pursuing my thesis in Industrial and Interaction Design. Over the past five months, I have been researching the connection of sustainability between urban agriculture, community and materials.

It would be so helpful if you could take a couple of minutes and complete my survey below to help me in my research process!

I took the survey, it only took about 5 minutes, I didn't have to give any identifying information, and hopefully the results will be eye-opening!

Also, welcome to Permies, Emily!

Please spend some time on the site, looking at all the amazing projects/innovations going on; I think you'll find several areas of interest than can provide more opportunities for sustainability/conservation in your research/career than even the mainstream sources "tell" you is the best/only thing to do.

You might like to check out Brightmore in Detroit, MI. When I was last there a few years ago they were undertaking some well organized and neighborhood scale urban agriculture. Brightmore neighborhood
Looks like there's some contact info but I don't know how updated it is.
Best of luck

Hoo hoo hoo! Looks like we got a live one! Here, wave this tiny ad at it:
