Radish spacing

Is it possible to grow radish in 6 inch rows instead of 10 or 12? I've already planted that close or even closer but I'm worried they arent gonna make it?

I think it should be fine. Depending on what they are for you could always thin them down the line. What's your soil like? If it's very fertile you might get away with it better. Also, what kind of radishes are they?

They are the crayon mix, I think regular smaller radishes. Their in a 4 by 8 foot bed I mixed a couple bags of compost with a big cube of peat and and pretty big bag of potting soil, so I think pretty great soil for it. I also planted beets and carrots along with the radishes. Thanks for your reply! I guess ill just have to see in 30 days!

If they're small radishes, you might be able to get away with four inches in beds. In the Squarefoot Gardening book, Mel Bartholomew settled on four inches for early maturing radishes. If they're early radishes, the roots should be ready in only one month. I haven't had any success growing them during the warmer part of Summer here in Southwest Ohio though. It gets over 87°F regularly from late June to early September here.

It also gets to 90 from June to September here in northwest Arkansas. I think they are pretty close to 4 I chew maybe 2 or 3 though. I'm just gonna let them go and see what happens. Ill post a message on this forum here in a couple weeks when I harvest the first batch.
