Hi,
I'm currently on a farm with a mango orchard in north India. Some trees have problems and might die because of trunk/stem borers.
Any ideas how to treat that problem to save the trees?
Or any suggestions how to prevent spreading?
Help would be much appreciated,
Thanks
Tobi
At the moment, I think neem oil would be a good way to control the mango stem borers.
I also think scraping the eggs off the trees after they are laid and selling the mango stem borer eggs as a delicacy or as animal fodder could be another option.
