This came in the newsletter from Jane Friedman, author of The Business of Being a Writer (an absolutely fantastic book!)

Patreon just announced it's rolling out new plans for joining in May.
• "Patreon Lite" will be a simple patronage option without tiers that charges 5 percent of donations (plus processing fees).
• "Patreon Pro" will include member tiers and charge 8 percent.
• "Patreon Premium" will charge 12 percent and offer features not currently available.
Existing Patreon users will be put on a Pro plan with existing pricing and features (5 percent). If you have any interest in Patreon, you may want to create an account today to get grandfathered in at the 5 percent rate, assuming you want membership tiers.

Thanks for the heads-up.  I'm not sure if I'll use it, but I signed up just in case.
