ouch. really? why not? is it the price? or you don't think folks would get anything out of it?

$375 per week for full organic catering, accom, kick-ass world-class courses + detailed and specialised learning and design projects...

we're committed to making our intern program truly awesome and ridiculously valuable - and I think it's pretty darn good. No suckers here. All the best...

The price.  I think asking people to pay $50/day to work for you is a bit much.  I imagine your current interns are all quite happy and that you deliver an amazing curriculum.  Your website shows a beautiful site.

Those negative words were mine and reflect poorly on me, not you.

If that were the case, that they work for us, I'd agree. But we don't feel it is that. We have multiple crew that are onsite to service the interns during their time with us (cook, market gardener, process manager, multiple teachers) over 12 weeks. We make a loss on this program, not a profit, but we run it because we want to develop awesome permaculturalists. I've seen some great free internships that constitute lots of 'doing what needs be done' type work (and we used to run those too), but this isnt that. Its about developing and delivering a package of knowledge and skills transfer that make for kick-ass permaculture practitioners, and doing that in a way that doesnt physically or financially exhaust our crew and our permaculture enterprise in the process.

I'm willing to admit I could be wrong.  Would you like me to delete my posts here?

I think you should edit your post.

I think that if you don't want to do something like this, then vote with your dollars.  In the meantime, I think there are tens of thousands of people that would think this price is dirt cheap.
