Just listened to the urban
permaculture podcast. Thanks Paul for putting this together, and thanks Norris for sharing your considerable knowledge and
experience.
I thought the quality of information in this podcast was very good. It's great that people are keeping track of their results so we can have some true ideas of how productive small plots could be (or not!)
I want to go back and listen to a couple of bits more closely, but I did have one question. Norris mentioned using scorzonera as a primary leaf crop during summer. I assumed he meant Scorzonera hispanica, which I started growing this year, but looking up info on it I see there is also something called french scorzonera (Reichardia picroides) which looks like a better leaf crop.
Has anyone had experience with these two, particularly as leaf crops?
