Not sure if there is a forum that is actually appropriate so putting it in Meaningless Drivel. Stanford is offering free online not for credit classes. I took a computer class in the first attempt at this. Which was apparently successful as a whole host of classes are being offered in 2012. One of which is greenbuilding-class.org and seems relevant here.

that set of classes on robotics and machine learning have me interested to no end, but i'm already enrolled in the entrepeneureal one and the green building one, so i worry about spreading myself too thin.

Nice! I put the link in a Green_building_courses page on Appropedia - now it to be expanded.

There must be good materials on OpenCourseWare as well. It's just the material, without access to an instructor or fellow students, but they can be great resources anyway. I've listened to great lecture series from there on other subjects.

If you find a good cache of course materials, please share the link.
