You might try contacting Jack Spirko . He lives in Hot Springs and does the Survival Podcast. Paul has interviewed him a few times regarding permie stuff. survivalpodcast.com

The only way you can start a garden is from the ground up. Plant. Evaluate. Respond. Repeat. Learn.
