Planted a couple of new raspberries and blackberries this spring and I’m having some disease issues. Leaves are spotting and eventually dying. I’ve applied a fungicide and have been removing infected leaves but doesn’t seem to be controlling the spread much. They have been growing out of control but I’m worried whatever has got ahold of them is going to catch up. The last picture is maybe spider mites (not sure) but those seemed to appear over the last few days. Any advice is welcome, and willing to provide any more information if needed. Thank you!

Hey Daniel, welcome to Permies! Bummer about your berry canes, but here's what I think is going on. The first two pictures, the dark spots, looks like it could either be blight, caused by a fungus, or something called mosaic virus. The third picture, with the light colored spots, is simply called raspberry leaf spot, and is caused by a different fungus from the blight. The fourth picture shows signs of stippling, where sap sucking insects pierce the leaf tissue and suck out the juices for a meal, and it leaves a little spot or scar. This could possibly be caused by the culprit in the fifth picture, which, whoa man, is a big time spider mite infestation. I feel your pain, but I hope this info helps you out!
