I have a feeling we'll be getting some interns for this site anytime soon. What shall we have them do?

I have this list of ideas:
*get knowledgable about permaculture if they're not already
*throw fun little events in their community so more people get knowledgable
*use permies. com
*show other folks how useful permies.com is
*put up flyers about permies.com....oh wait, i think i have one handy
*let themselves be the subject of articles about permies.com in newspapers

what else?

So am I in fact a permie?  And does that mean there could also be permiephobes out there?  I know some people think its weird to eat stinging nettles and all, but I tell them I cook it first!!!

I knew that stinging nettle was a medicinal plant, but I didn't know how medicinal until I looked it up. http://www.answers.com/topic/stinging-nettle

I suppose there are "phobes" out there for just about everything! I used to be a spiderphobe until I educated my fear away. I admire those who can live a "permie" lifestyle, as I'm not able to do it just now.

I do enjoy this site, it's interesting & informative!

yeah what I've been looking for. most of my posts in Craig's list gets flagged so I don't get any answers. I'm looking for internship with someone. With room and board. Was interested in building alternate houses (straw bale, slip form, and under ground homes). What I've seen are costly classes. Just no way I can pay those prices. so if someone has something that they could use the labor for the learning I could go that route. Could be short or long term as long as something could be lined up after the short period. I'm looking to do 2 years of this. Thanks.
