I recently watched Sepp Holzers' videos and saw that he has goats, but can't find any information about how he cares for them? So how does one care for goats in a permaculture setting?

BTW for anyone who has goats and is on facebook there is a fantastic group called Totally Natural Goats, the information there is wonderful.

Are you sure it is on FB? I couldn't find it when I searched. It did come up on Yahoo, but I'd rather be on FB. Could you provide an actually link?

Thanks! It is a closed group which is probably why it didn't show up in a search. I will attempt to gain entrance, otherwise I will be back to beg for an invite.
I hope someone answers your question about Sepp and the goats--I'd like to know, too!

I also noticed in one of the austrian sepp video's I watched, Sepp doesn't de tusk his pigs, he says it's there most important digging tool. But what I couldn't see from the videos is does he castrate his boar's. He's raised some pretty wild animals so I wondered if his view translated to the pork he raises.

I'm looking for someone Sepp-literate to weigh in on the goats too.

Always! Wait. Never. Shut up. Look at this tiny ad.
