Our small cob studio on my property uses a used, vintage cast iron Morso Squirrel and it works very well. I think the cob studio is 500sq ft, and it gets hot quickly with the morso squirrel, usually one small quick fire a night in winter is all that is done.
Morso still makes small stoves, more expensive than the dwarf stoves, but a very long track record
