A few months back, I got some heavy-duty grey plastic open bottomed/stacking trays, apparently a fancy compost system, from the dump.

Since I got them, I’ve used them to make 1 batch of leaf mulch, currently on the veggie beds; worked great.

With my aging issues, the system of stacking, open-bottomed trays works great for my back.

There’s no name on these. Have any idea who might have made them?

TIA

Hi Jennie, could you provide a picture of these bins?

Thanks for the picture Jennie. A long time ago in a former life I worked in a kitchen at a restaurant. One day the dishwasher called in sick or didn't show, I can't remember which, but the kitchen manager invited me to be the dishwasher that day. Those trays in your picture look like the trays that I loaded glassware into and put in the commercial dishwasher. They're convenient as the glasses don't need to be unloaded, but the trays full of clean glassware are then stacked and ready for use.

I ran a dish room in college, I know exactly the racks you're talking about! I'll see if I can't find some of those 2nd hand. I actually have some plastic-covered wire ones in my attic holding extra dishes. They wouldn't work for this because they'd rust and I only have 2.

These are hollow, nothing but the edges, obviously they're made to stack.

'But wow, what a great idea --thanks!
