Hello! I am 23 and looking for any opportunity to support and work on a permaculture farm. I’m currently in South Florida, but eager and willing to relocate. It’s just me and my cat, I am independent, a hard worker, and a fast learner. If you have a family I have work experience in education and childcare. I would seek any amount of time from 6 mo to multiple years. If you have more questions please ask! I’m here to help and to learn!

Hello Kyra! I have a permaculture farm on the Big Island of Hawai'i with a food forest that has over 200 fruit and nut trees and many perennial edible plants and herbs. I am exploring the potential of bringing on work traders this year and was excited to find your post. Most of what I need help with is caring for the food forest and working in the fruit tree nursery. I am also finishing a community kitchen and living area that will allow me to host campers, travelers, and farm residents so there will be opportunities in hospitality as well. If you're interested, shoot me an email at nickhummel25@gmail.com and maybe we can set up a time to chat. Thanks!

Hi Kyra, If you didn't go to Hawaii, we have a position open in Northern Minnesota at Finnegan Farm.  We are a small 22acre farm, next to Lake Vermilion.  It is beautiful here.  We ask 1hour a day of work for room and board.  There is a possibility of seasonal  work within walking distance, and you can get reception  here if you're on ATT.  You have your own cabin and toilet.  We are off grid and heat with wood.  Winter's are rough but no boring.  We knit, spin wool, get ready for Spring, do canning of food,do art work of any kind, love and play with our pets, eat, read, watch TV, and sleep. And yes, kitties are welcome!

I will need some help in eastern Tennessee. I'm also getting out of SoFlo.

Taking my family to Tennessee. 45 acres. We bought the whole hillside. There are some clearings already. We are going up on the 4th to try and build a shed with some friends and my brother.

We are 3 teens and a married couple.

We will be trying a variety of techniques for growing and building.

Update? Where did you go? Hawaii is gorgeous. Tennessee is gorgeous. We drove up from S. Florida to check it out and look a properties. But I ended up moving back to Washington state. I’m looking for a homestead Permaculture site to help out at this Winter in S. Cal or Arizona. I have a small school bus so just need a place to park. I’m really wanting to put some trees in the ground and build solar energy systems.
