Does anybody have a few seeds that they would be willing to part with if I sent a SASE? I need an over story Nfixer over my vetch, alfalfa, and clover.
Thanks,
Jim
CA, Southern Sierras, alt. 4550 feet, zone 9ish. (still figuring it out), 3 mo. grow season. Regular wind to 20 mph. SANDY soil with scrub oak, pine, and juniper. 2 seasonal creeks.
I do have a few seeds that I would share, but I think after postage here and back, you'll probably be better off buying a package for yourself. J.L. Hudson has both Caragana arborescens and C. microphylla, which I believe are the pea trees/shrubs you're after.
Our projects:
in Portugal, sheltered terraces facing eastwards, high water table, uphill original forest of pines, oaks and chestnuts. 2000m2
in Iceland: converted flat lawn, compacted poor soil, cold, windy, humid climate, cold, short summer. 50m2
