12 volt refrigeration

I'm thinking about a marine conversion kit, retro fitted into a "broken" refrigerator. Roughly six foot tubing allows for remote locating of compressor/condenser, from fridge. -West Marine and other marine suppliers. Was thinking as they are already 12 volt they will make great off grid refrigerators.

I have a Whynter 90 Qt and a Black Ice That I use in my schoolie The Whynter was twice as much as the Black Ice but it does have the seperate compartments that I  really like. Depending on what you need size wise, these work for me. The amperage draw is incredibly low and I can use 110-24-12 volt.
