This is 11 days with 10 tracks and more than a dozen instructors.   And our primary videographer will be teaching the whole time.

We will allow two videographers for a trade.  Those interested will be vetted by josiah.  Two will be selected and those two will pony up $500 each.  At the end of the event, those two will get their $500 back (we've had too many videographers say they will come for a trade and then they never show up - or they do show up and somehow forget to take video).

Each videographer can keep the video that they have taken and can do anything they wish to with it.   And we get to keep a copy and do anything with it.

If interested, send an email to josiah at richsoil.com

I'm seeing trade and also that $500 goes back and forth. Does this mean that they get to attend the event for essentially free if they take videos? They pay $500 (and that's all), attend the PTJ, and then get their $500 back?

Nicole,

We've had several people in the past that said they would video an event in exchange for being able to attend.   And what has happened is ....   well, every person is different ...   one person attended and videoed so little that it was useless.  Others took extremely low quality video.  And several simply never showed up.

So this is our way to try to make things better.  It's a gamble.  A guess.  A shot in the dark.

They pony up the $500 and then show up, take video, get the video to us, have lots of chats with josiah, and at the end of the event they get the $500 back, and they can do whatever they want with the video they recorded and we get the same.

So maybe somebody takes lots of video and then they put out a bunch of kickstarters.  Or maybe create a video empire.   Or sells DVDs.
