Stefan Sobkoviak has a trick to train landpredators to the electric fence:
2 hot fences, spaced 30 cm. If a fox finds a hole in the first, it makes ZAP right, ZAP left ... ...

Interesting. My coyote problem is getting out of hand.  I am trying to avoid shooting them.  But it is approaching that point.  I have shot, in cold blood, 2 trees that were near a coyote a week ago.
