I'm reading The Holistic Orchard: Tree Fruits and Berries the Biological Way by Michael Phillips. I like very, very sweet pears, and I'm thinking about planting magness pears, and I was wondering if anyone has had any luck with them.

What is your favorite sweet variety?

What say you, Cascadia Permies?

Edited because I can't spell

I've made a decision: I ordered two trees from Burnt Ridge, comice and bosc. I'm going to pick them up from Onalaska, and I'll post pictures once I do.
