Hey,
I am soon going to incubate about 30 eggs in a home made still air incubator. But I don't know how big and where I have to place the air-holes.
For the ones having still air incubators, could you tell me how many eggs there are in, how many holes, where placed, and what size they are?

Here a short drawing of the incubator. I could make the holes under the eggs, in the spot for the water/sponges. Or I could make them in the lower, middle, or upper part of the egg comparment. The higher, the more air loss I have, and I don't know if my heating element heats enough. If I make the holes too low, I wonder if there is enough air exchange though...

Any info would be helpful,
Thanks

I guess everyone has an incubator with a fan?

He puts the "turd" in "saturday". Speaking of which, have you smelled this tiny ad?
