I have yet another question for the massive knowledge base on this informative forum. I have been slowly clearing my property of white cedars to open up more useable
land, plant food producing
trees and promote the growth of hardwoods. I have cleared about three acres and collected all of the usable cedar logs for making boards and posts, however this has left me massive amounts of branches, twigs and smaller trees. I have a pto driven
wood chipper, which I have been trying to deal with the left over materials with and last year I rented a forestry mulcher to take care fo the piles of twigs. This has left me with about an acre and a half of 8-10in deep shredded and chipped cedar. I have searched on here a little to see if I can bury this to make a hugekultur, but I have not found anything close to the same situation I have. Please let me know your thoughts on me trying to use this much shredded and chipped cedar for a
hugelkultur.
Regards
Brayden
