Hi, I'm off work while the coronavirus crisis is ongoing and want to use my time to learn more about permaculture. Obviously all in-person PDC's in my area are cancelled for the time being so I was thinking of doing an online PDC. Any recommendations on courses?

Thank you all

Hi Erik,
The cheapest one i have seen is the one on udemy by Bill Mollison and Jeff Lawton. Usually they have sales, therefore look for coupons and do not pay the full price.

I supplement that with a lot of books and a notebook to take notes.

I did one with Patrick Whitefield associates because I was looking for a European context. Had learned everything right here on permies allready! The projects and forestry theme were good though.

I've got one starting August 1, 2020.

You can watch  all of our lectures at our Introductory Permaculture Course. We combine all of those with reading to form a basis for in class discussion.

It really works well for us!

Paul Wheaton's/the permies online PDC has a variety of instructors and a ton of excellent info.  There is the option to do just the PDC, or you can also do an appropriate technology course for a special deal.

To preview a tiny bit of the PDC, you can see a new YouTube snippet available here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yOHPFDf2XeM

This one is a clip from Helen Atthowe's class and here she is talking about soil organic matter management and discussing 6 key essential principles.

We've gotta get close enough to that helmet to pull the choke on it's engine and flood his mind! Or, we could just read this tiny ad:
