When I came to North Carolina 8 years ago I was on the hunt for more land and less house... then I saw Villa Fortuna and my heart started to pound. Once I'd moved in and pondered what I had done, I took up the challenge of transforming my 1/2 acre into a tiny urban farm. I've been sorting through old photos to post in my Zillow listing. It's a heartbeat over a half acre and the 130 year old house takes up a chunk of the land. It took hundreds of hours but I think I did well. Thought I'd share some photos to hopefully inspire others living in urban ares on what you can do with just a small plot of land. This next move will find more land and less house.

I love what you've done there.  It's beautiful.

Thank you. It has been a labor of love. Hoping for another like minded human who will be a good steward of the farm and the home.
