I am in need of an antifungal. I have a lot of dock I in my yard, so the root is what I am going to use. I have done a decoction in the past. I do not like the way it runs all over the place. Tincture doesn't run as badly. Weird. But dripping alcohol on broken skin is not what I call fun. So I guess what is left is a salve.

Am I missing something?  What herb and application would you use?

Benefect is a product that is 3% Thyme oil and is sold and applied to mould in houses.  I can tell you that it doesn't work in that application, but my guess is that thyme oil has been shown to be an anti-fungal in labs, so I think it would be worth trying.  Not Benefect, but thyme oil.
