Saybian, I dunno if it suits your situation, but if I'm cooking up something extra pongy, a portable electric or gas ring outside is awesome.
As Saybian asks, small or big fish? I'd chuck little fish in whole, or boil up big ones on my handy outside burner
I'd definitely feed loads of fish to mothers with babies.
