Tree bore fruit when I bought it- now 2 years later and have not even had a blossom on it- any help?

I'm not familiar with pomegranate, but many trees do not fruit each year.
Some trees also only set fruit on branches of a certain age. If that age branches have been prune, that could be the problem.

do you prune it? wheres it growing? sufficient water and decent soil?
