I just found this forum although I've been reading the website for a while. I happened to be searching 'round the net for some place to meet like minded singles and this forum came up.
A little about myself. I live in East Tennessee, literally at the edge of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, this is an AWFUL place to try and meet men, so I pretty much have given up, been single for 15 years, three grown sons, 3 grandchildren.
I live in a tiny house (288 sq ft) on an acre of woods with no running water, not by choice, just haven't had the money to drill a well. I currently collect rainwater and haul in drinking water.
I bought this raw land 4 years ago with intentions of building a small cabin and living a dream, and have found it very hard to do all I want to do by myself!
I enjoy gardening, natural homes, cooking outdoors, herbs, reading, livestock, travel, history and living simply.
I am agnostic and politically Liberal.
Interested in meeting like minded men for friendship, maybe more.

Hi Roxy,

I live just the other side of the mountain from you in WNC. I know just what you mean about meeting like minded people-at least, people around our age. I'm 60, also agnostic and not political. It's all a sham to make the sheep think they matter. I'd give you a well, if I could. I have three. I've got an acre and a half of what used to be a MH park. I've got chickens, rabbits, a garden, an orchard (though very small) and I heat with wood. You can reach me at tonyattonydeckarddotcom.
later,
Tony
