Rocket Mass Heater Workshop  at Sam Droege and Sue Stockman's Place in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.
September 19th and 20th.
All weekend event.

8" pipe, cob bench, simple 55 gallon drum construction, following Wisner's basic design
Will be in strawbale house
Built on wood floor (with protection and insulation) on top of reinforced subfloor
Replaces wood stove
Stove will go from start to finish over the weekend
This will be our third stove build this year
House is strawbale, earth plaster, timberframe, natural home.

Looking for about 10 participants at any one time, committing for at least 1/2 a day's work.  People can arrive the day before and leave the day after.
Can stay over in the main house, or camp.  Simple working people food will be provided, please bring a side dish.
Cost = Nothing!  Well, actually, you will be working....

No onlookers during the event, there will be an open house later.

During the open house afterwards we will invite Joey Patrick (wood stove installer) who can talk about international code and rocket mass heaters (hint:  this rocket mass heater will be up to code!)

If interested, email Sue Susan Stockman (suestockman78@gmail.com) or Sam Droege (sam_droege@yahoo.com) to register.

Thanks

sam
