I have read that this plant is a mild narcotic. I was just wondering if anyone has tried smoking it? Looking for additives for an alternative smoking blend, and if anyone has tried it with adverse effects I will steer clear...

This is the info I have found:

A couple links:

"The plant is said to be a narcotic hallucinogen that is known to have caused fatalities[274].The plant contains digitalis-like substances (these are commonly found in Digitalis species and are used in treating heart complaints) and is thought to possess heart tonic properties[268]." http://www.pfaf.org/user/Plant.aspx?LatinName=Ajuga+reptans

I bet you can smoke just about anything if you don't care if it is toxic. But seriously, smoking toxic stuff is bad for you.
