Foundation inner walls

Hi Permies!

We are starting to build a cob house in about three years, so there's much of planning ahead

Now that I'm learning and planning one question will not leave my mind:
Do inner walls need a foundation (rubble trench and stone foundation) as well?
My guess is they don't since they won't have to endure rain, snow and lots of water in general.
And since our floor will have some kind of foundation; pebbles and geotextile as far as I know now, that should be fine too.

But you guys are the experts as most of you already built your own cob houses. So you tell me
