That's a pretty close rendition of Anzu wyliei, the 'chicken from hell' fossil that was discovered in the Badlands of the Dakotas a few years back:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anzu_wyliei
When that discovery was made, it explained a lot to us why our chickens actually felt right at home just south of the Canadian border.  It explains also why a rooster running full tilt towards you can raise your adrenaline level.....somewhere in our DNA, it reminds us of T. rex giving chase... ;-)
