Today I recorded my first song ever, using my iPhone as the microphone, and edited it on my computer. I wasn't expecting it to turn out this decent, but it was a fun day of creating something. I plan on recording it better and longer. My brother has some good equipment, but due to the pandemic, this probably wont happen for a while.

Anyway Enjoy, and let me know if you like it.

Nice! Well done, Stephen. It has a hint of early Bruce Cockburn, that hypnotic mantra he would build. I was waiting for the vocals to kick in.

Just off the top of my head, may I toss out some lyrics in that vein? I hear this as a close, female three-part harmony.

Walk these woods,
Walk these woods,
A circle,
Unbroken

Walk this world,
Walk this world,
Torn and hurt,
Seeking

Walk these hills,
Walk these hills,
Sunshine,
Rain down on me

Walk these woods,
Walk these woods,
A circle,
Unbroken,
Unbroken,
We are not broken,
We are not broken

Thanks Doug, It was kind of a fluke writing this song today. I am not much of a singer but I have always been into instrumental music, and kind of try to focus my energy into playing rather than singing. It took me a long time to be even comfortable sharing this much of my song writing, and I have always had really bad stage fright. So I think I will take some time before I ever think about adding lyrics, but I appreciate your inspirational lyrics .

It takes a great deal of courage to hang it out over the abyss. Believe me, I know. Cheers mate!
