Hey.  I'm Chris and as far as I could remember I've always wanted to get the hell out of the city, live closer to nature and do something waaaay different than what I'm witnessing in the inner city.

Foraging, owning land and being simple yet practical is seen as odd and 'too difficult' around here and waved off as a pipe dream for the lotto winners.

It only occured way later in life that these things are attainable with enough brains and education.  Got into foraging, sustainable living, and primitive technology a couple of years back with my fiancee.

Now I'm here to network and learn way more.  So bless this site, and thank you guys in advance.
