Good Day Everyone,

Just wanted to do a friendly reminder that right now everyone around the country is starting to prune their fruit trees for the year. So now is the time to go to places like FigBid online at start rooting out those trees you have been wanting on the cheap. You can start a small food forest in a 4'x1' space under a grow light.

FigBid sells more than just the 1000 or so different fig varieties that exsist. They also sell (Cuttings and rooted) mulberries, pomegranates, Jerusalem artichokes, PawPaws, Persimmons, etc, etc.

You can either take your hand at bidding on an auction or... look for the "Buy it now" prices which honestly end up being the cheaper option very often.

I have had my best luck on the weekdays getting entire bundles of cuttings on the CHEAP. Right now I have 24 fig cuttings getting started. Some of which I plan to sell or gift to friends/neighbors. The best performers will go into a you-pick orchard I want to start up in a few years.

As a side note, you can sell your cuttings on there as well!!! Use the cash to buy gardening supplies or increase your plant abundance.

Here is a pic of my setup. Probably cost $130 in total, and will last years and years. Mainly used for garden starts... but occasionally rooting trees.
