I'm getting this idea of using sheep wool as bedding for my goats and chickens.

For the last two years, I've been experimenting with raw sheep wool for diferent purposes such as insulation or garden mulch, both being extremely succesful. Sheep wool is not used anymore in my area and needs high input labor to turn it into compost by the farmers, so they are happy to know that someone will use it and take it away from their sight.

In my pursue of finding new purposes for this wool, I was wondering if it could be used as animal bedding for goats or chickens or if there would be any inconvenience that I'm unaware of. :)
